The YW Manual 1 Lesson 18 is Temple Marriage - Requirement for Eternal Family Life. This is one of those lessons that I can easily over do with handouts and goodies. I'm struggling between the white hanger and the temple recommend ideas.... I also liked the idea on SugarDoodle, White Elephant Temple Marriage game under Lesson Helps that teaches this lesson:

"Sometimes the fanciest and nicest things aren't what they seem and can lead to heartaches and disappointment. That we need to look beyond outward appearances to what is inside."

All of this in addition to the handout I made, too. All of them are sooooooo good and give valuable lessons, reminders and visuals.... which one, which one, which one?!

Well, I had ordered the white hangers and temple recommends with 3-day shipping and they still didn't get here in time. So, I wrapped six presents (see photo) with the handout inside. We played the white elephant game, but nobody stole anybody else's gift. They were all happy with the one they had chosen! LOL! We will use the white hangers and temple recommends for something else sometime later.
