I Love Primary and I Love Nursery New Releases!

I am very excited about this new release. There have been a few requests for a LDS Primary Themed kit and here it is. There are actually two of them and their color scheme matches each other.

The I Love Primary kit comes with four complete alphas in four colors: blue, orange, green and yellow all with upper, lower, numbers and symbols, 33 papers, and 43 individual elements (153 total) which include one apartment house, Bible, bishop, Book of Mormon, border ruffle, five bows, one kneeling boy, sitting boy holding a Book of Mormon, butterfly, seven buttons, one chalkboard with "I Love Primary!" written on it, one chapel, chorister, generic church building, LDS church sign, flower circle, classroom with teacher and three students, CTR shield, family holding various church books or scriptures, twelve various flowers, five folded ribbons, four circle ribbon frames, five rectangular ribbon frames, one future missionary, two praying girls, two sitting girls, four hearts, one house, one hymn book, journal tag, two leaves, one music stand, podium, four tied ribbons, four straight ribbons, four rick-rack, one swirl edge, two swirls, six tag ties, one tree, a letter I and CTR, Primary, Sunbeam, and Valiant word art. The I love Nursery kit comes with five complete alphas (upper case only) in green, blue, yellow, orange and brown, 20 papers, and 16 elements (34 total elements) and are all unique from the I Love Primary kit. The included elements are an airplane, border ruffle, five bows, one boy artist, on boy with ball and duck, five heart shaped buttons, four heart shaped ruffle frames, one girl playing, one girl counting, toy blocks, toy caboose, toy jack in the box, toy stackers, toy xylophone, the letter I and the word Nursery. Young Women Manual 3 Lesson 17: Preparing to Attend the Temple

Sorry this is late ladies!!  I swear time is just getting away from me!  I guess that is what happens when you are crazy busy!  This weeks Young Women lesson is "Preparing to Attend the Temple" This lesson is a very scared lesson on how each young woman can prepare to visit the temple, to receive their own endowment. 
“Find out for yourself who Jesus Christ really is. You can know him, and as you make the temple covenants with God, you are putting your hand in his, and receiving blessings from his hand all the time” (quoted in Kathleen Lubeck, “Preparing for the Temple Endowment,” New Era, Feb. 1987, p. 11).
I remember the first time I went to the temple and received my endowment. It was before I went on my mission. Everyone kept asking me after if I was okay. I couldn't figure out why I wouldn't be okay it was the greatest day in my life up to that point. I knew that the scared covenants that I made in the temple that day were all under the direction of my Father in Heaven that his work was being done. I will never forget that day as I had prepared myself to enter into the Holy Temple of my Father. 
It is so important that each young woman understand the importance of going to the temple to be endowed and to take up herself those scare covenants. I pray that each of you have the opportunity to go to the temple and to reap the blessings our Father Heaven has for each of you! 

I love my Father and His Son my Brother Jesus Christ. I am thankful for the plan they have given us and the power of the gospel in my life. I am thankful for one young man that had the faith and courage to ask that one question that brought the true and everlasting gospel back to this earth in our day and time.  I am thankful for all the blessings I have received and all my Father has given me! I know He lives I know he loves me and that my Brother Jesus Christ is my Savior and Redeemer that through Him I may return to live with my Father in Heaven, with my family for time and all eternity. I share this with you in the name of Our Savior Jesus Christ Amen.

April Visting Teaching Messages Handout

Here is April's Visiting Teaching Handout! To go with this months message!  If you don't get the Ensign you can find the message here!  This month's message is The Purpose of The Relief Society.  Sister Julie B Beck states in the first part of the message:

"To fulfill this purpose of Relief Society, the Lord has commissioned each sister and the organization as a whole to:

1. Increase in faith and personal righteousness.
   
2. Strengthen families and homes.
   
3. Provide relief by serving the Lord and His children.
   

We can do this work in the Lord’s way only when we seek, receive, and act on personal revelation. Without personal revelation, we cannot succeed. If we heed personal revelation, we cannot fail. The prophet Nephi instructs us that the Holy Ghost will show us “all things what [we] should do” (2 Nephi 32:5). We must allow ourselves to be still enough and quiet enough to listen to the voice of the Spirit."

I know that in this day and age we really need the help of our Sisters to make it.  The friendships, the sisterhood and the strength of fellow sisters. The ability to call on them when needed and know that someone is there when you need them the most!  It is so important to be a friend to your sisters.  As you help them build their spirit and they will in turn build yours!
