Young Women Manual 3 Lesson 23: Overcoming Opposition

Overcoming Opposition is the subject for Lesson 23. This lesson teaches the girls that even though there is opposition in there lives it is there to make them strong and possibly teach them something they would not have learned otherwise.  The only thing that stood out to me in the lesson was this one quote:
“Noble characters do not alone bear trouble; they use it.”
A thought by Elder Hugh B. Brown (quoted by Marvin J. Ashton, “What Shall We Do Then?” in Speeches of the Year, 1975 [Provo: Brigham Young University Press, 1975], p. 21)
