Wise Use Of Our Leisure Time Handout FREEBIE

Hi everyone! Thanks for stopping by today. I have for you a Young Women Manual 2 Lesson 43 handout about Wise Use of Our Leisure Time. I used two quotes on it because I thought they both made great points. I especially liked how it was pointed out that Leisure time is different from idling away our time. It can be very difficult to allow ourselves leisure time when we confuse it with being idle. Furthermore, it's difficult to enjoy leisure time when we spend too much time being idle. I have a friend who shared with me that she never stops to do anything for herself. It's a weakness of hers that her husband and mother try to encourage her to overcome. The problem is that she feels guilty anytime she isn't doing something productive. Although the Lord can never claim she was ever idle with her time, she cannot also benefit from the blessings of leisure time until she finds that balance. Me, on the other hand, would fall in the category of being too idle. :) Spending the entire day in bed sounds wonderful (as long as I know I don't have the house to clean or a big to-do list waiting for me when I'm finished).

I hope you like the handout. I made it using my Our Home kit. You can grab the set (4x6, postcard, and 1 pdf with 4 postcards) here.
